In August 2021 CYD partnered with Data Driven Advocacy program (DDA) to conduct a brief study in Unguja and Pemba to better understand the internal workings of the Zanzibar Youth Council (ZYC) and its coordination within the various strata and its relationship with key youth stakeholders in public and private sectors. The aim was to provide key insights and propel recommendations and action points to further strengthen the ZYC in delivering the Youth Agenda in Zanzibar with greater efficacy. The project was funded by Pact Tanzania and Freedom House under the Data Driven Advocacy (DDA).
