The main goal of the Amani Visiwani project project was to improve community engagement especially of at-risk youth on special civic engagement program as a preventive measure from engaging into violent behaviors.

The project was implemented in six Districts of Zanzibar namely Urban, West ‘A’, West ‘B’, North ‘A’, Wete and Chake-Chake districts. The Amani Visiwani project was implemented by CYD in collaboration with the Zanzibar’s Ministry of information, Youth, Culture and Sports in 2022 under the financial support from the UNDP Tanzania.
